HOME
Daniel Extra's International Music Workshop is a program which integrates several disciplines while teaching tolerance for other cultures. The program is designed to integrate creative movement, introduction to several world languages, geography, and hands on participation. The students are captivated by the variety of fascinating instruments from around the world that Daniel pulls from his many bags.

Participants are able to handle and play the instruments and experience the unique sounds that they make. At one point in the program they participate in a performance and play their designated instrument with the others. The program for libraries and schools usually runs an hour and a half. Half day workshops are available on weekends for camps or other venues also. Please call or email to book a workshop with Daniel or to have us send you a price list and more information.

"Daniel Extra's International Music Workshop stands out as a very refreshing and enthusiastic presentation. His audiences are treated to an opportunity to wield instruments that are anything-but commonplace in Western music classrooms. Building a hands-on bridge of experience for participants, Daniel opens a window of discovery into the traditions and culture of World Music for all ages."
